Wild Minds in Ely follows the same friendly, flexible format as Animal Insights, but takes place once a month. Each session offers the chance to slow down, learn about a new zoological theme, and take part in creative activities that encourage both curiosity and socialising with peers.
As with all of my groups, the work is always optional, light and fun - with plenty of opportunity for children to explore in their own way. We also incorporate links with other subjects, ensuring each session is rich, engaging and inspiring.
The Paradise Centre makes a brilliant home for Wild Minds:
A large free car park
A play field and play park right next to the venue, ideal for a post-session run about
Toilets and baby changing facilities
While there isn’t a separate space for younger siblings, I always provide colouring activities so they can happily join in alongside the group
Wild Minds is perfect for families looking for a regular opportunity to combine learning, creativity and time with a supportive, welcoming community. You can join in the fun here:
Every session includes a free activity sheet, so all children can take part in the lesson’s plans and enjoy the activities we do together.
If you’d like to take things a step further, I also offer Learning Packs for just £2 per lesson. Each pack is over 10 pages long, filled with:
Key information from the lesson
Extra activities to explore at home
A special Zoology Learning Challenge to keep curious minds engaged
Learning Packs are optional, but they’re a great way to carry on the fun and deepen understanding beyond the session.
To order a pack before its in-person lesson, please message me separately. Once payment has been confirmed, I’ll bring along your printed Learning Pack ready for your family.
